Events now play an important role in economic, cultural and social life. Beauty pageants, motor shows, vehicle launches, manga conventions, festivals and exhibitions bring together members of the public, organisers and numerous service providers for a few hours or several days.

Each event temporarily creates a new environment, with its own spaces, movements and operational constraints. Securing it therefore requires guards who are sufficiently autonomous to understand their instructions quickly, adapt to the security arrangements and perform their assigned duties effectively.

SDS specifically selects and prepares guards who can operate within these temporary and evolving environments for the duration of a presentation, show or event.

Whether for an event lasting a few hours or an assignment extending over several days, SDS provides a security presence suited to the environment, the expected attendance, and the organiser’s requirements.

When not assigned to specific events, these security personnel may also offer provisional support to teams operating at our permanent facilities. This facilitates SDS in addressing temporary surges in demand, compensating for absences, or ensuring uninterrupted service provision.

We select our event security guards for their autonomy, reliability, and adaptability. Once they receive event-specific instructions, they must quickly understand their role, take up their position, and integrate into security arrangements without a lengthy familiarisation period. Their duties may include access control, directing members of the public, monitoring the premises, protecting restricted areas, and reporting unusual situations.

Event security should enhance the occasion without disrupting it. Our guards offer a visible, courteous presence, attentive to guests, visitors, and involved parties. They are not close protection officers or specialists but are versatile and capable of performing their duties effectively as instructed.
